Corporate design, development and implementation
As part of the WDR-umbrella brand strategy we developed a new look for WDR Sinfonieorchester – WDR’s classical orchestra. The imagery is based on the contrast between silhouettes of natural objects that embody beauty and calm, and portraits of the orchestra's musicians expressing their passion for music. The interplay of design principles and elements such as logo, typography, and picture language were specified in the corporate design manual. The new design was implemented in various applications such as the 2015/2016 season booklet and event branding.
