Corporate design, development and implementation
As part of the WDR-umbrella brand strategy, we developed a new look for WDR Funkhausorchester – WDR’s entertainment orchestra. The originality and enthusiasm of the orchestra is brought to light by photos of musicians taken in the interior of the famous Cologne broadcasting centre.
The “fan” that is used as a design element for all of the WDR-brands in this case takes the form of a purple light cone that emphasizes the glamorous character of this sub-brand. The interplay of design elements was specified in the corporate design manual and implemented in various applications, such as the 2014/2015 season booklet and advertising materials.
